Fees 

Club fees for the September 2024 to August 2025 season are shown below.

Fees can be paid annually or monthly by standing order.  

Players who are trying the club for the first time, or who can only attend occasionally, can pay per session at the club.

For those who feel they would struggle to afford these fees, please contact Vince Southcott, the Club Treasurer, who may be able to help.

Club Team and Competition Requirements

If you are interested in playing for one of the club teams or in club competitions, you will need to have a current English Chess Federation Bronze annual membership of £20. 

If you are planning to play in open tournaments, like our Stroud Open Rapid Play, congresses, or FIDE tournaments you will need a Gold annual membership which costs £35 per year.
