Welcome to the club!

• We are a friendly group of chess players of all ages, from 7 to 70+, who love to play, learn and talk about chess.

• Most new players to the club start with casual chess and progress to playing in one of our many teams, either online or over the board.

• Everyone at the club is more than happy to help each other become better chess players.

Where we are

• We meet on Thursday evenings from 6pm (juniors) and from 7pm (adults) at the Star Anise Café located here in central Stroud.
