Welcome to the club!
We are a friendly group of chess players of all ages, from 7 to 70+, who love to play, learn and talk about chess.
Most new players to the club start with casual chess and progress to playing in one of our many teams, either online or over the board.
Everyone at the club is more than happy to help each other become better chess players.

Where we are
We meet on Thursday evenings from 6pm (juniors) and from 7pm (adults) at the Star Anise Café located here in central Stroud.
